memoQ 8: Translation results

As you translate, the Translation results pane displays suggestions from project resources and general settings, such as translation memories, LiveDocs corpora, term bases, fragment searching, auto-translation rules, subsegment matching, etc.

You can customise the colours for the tracked changes that show the source text differences in fuzzy TM matches. The same colour selection will then be used also in any tracked changes in the translation editor.

The eye icon in the top left is a toggle button for filtering translation results. Click once to open or close the eye.
If the eye is closed, the filter is deactivated and all available translation results are shown.
If the eye is open, the filter is activated.
Double-clicking the eye icon opens the filter settings. You are free to set these as you please, but the most useful setting is probably to limit the number of translation memory and hits - 5 is the default value and a good start.

Understanding Translation results is key to efficient translation in memoQ. For full details on how to interpret Translation results, please refer to the very detailed information in the https://help.memoq.com/8-2/en/index.html?translation-results-list.html.
