Multitrans Prism

Security settings

Multitrans Prism is a browser-based CAT tool developed by Multicorpora.
The tool itself is very simple and requires as a browser Internet Explorer 9 or above, with Internet Explorer 11 being currently the best supported version according to the developers. Please note that Multitrans won't work on Edge. For operating system, you'll need Windows 7 or higher.

Before you can access the editor, make sure you have setup the correct security options:
1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type Internet Explorer, and on the list of results click Internet Explorer.

2. When the browser opens, click the Tools icon , and then Internet options.

3. Click the Security tab, select Trusted sites, and click the Sites button.

4. You can enter and add the URLs displayed in the window preventing you from opening the editor (these may vary according to the client)

Note that the software asks you to NOT tick the box "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone", but that is actually misleading. Depending on the setup of the project, you might have to have it ticked. If you have the same error with the box unticked, try to tick it and see if it works.
You might also need to update your .NET framework version to access the editor. The latest versions of Internet Explorer should already come with the right version installed, but you can follow the download link in the notification you will receive when trying to access the editor to download the right version.

Logging in

Each client will give us a URL, username, and password to use for their Multitrans projects. The URL will take you to the landing page where you can insert your login credentials.

Accessing projects

Once logged in, you will see the main dashboard. In the screenshot below there are no tasks available, but when there are, you will see a number next to the In progress tasks or Tasks to be done.
