memoQ 9: X-translate

X-translation is a kind of pre-translation that instead of applying matches from a TM, applies translations from a previous version of the same document into a new version of the same document.
An example is if a client has made changes to a file and sends an updated file to replace the old one during the translation process.

If you have received a new version of a file and imported it using Reimport, It will generate a new major version of the file (2.0). X-translate can then be used to apply the translations from the last version 1.x onto the new version. Comments from the previous version of the file will also carry over.
