You can and should add a variety of data with your term entry:
- The entry-level data covers the whole term entry. The metadata will be automatically copied from the project and will rarely need editing. You can add a Note if the term entry requires additional information.
- Among the term-specific data, the match setting and case sensitivity settings on the Matching tab is the most important and must be set immediately.
- Under Usage, you can enter a usage example. You can also tick a box to make the term forbidden.
- Under Grammar, you can set the part of speech, genus and numerus of a term, if it is required for understanding.
- Under Definition, you can enter a definition of the term. Note that this information is specific for the term in that language, while entry-level Notes cover the whole entry.
